The Majialiang Coal Mine of Datong Coal Group in Shanxi Province operates a service shaft equipped with a large cage c/w a counterweight for material hoisting and men-riding and a transportation cage c/w a counterweight for men riding.
In 6 November, 2009, XCMSE was awarded a contract of one big cage c/w one counterweight and one transportation cage c/w one counterweight by SIEMAG-TECBERG for Majialiang Coal Mine of Datong Coal Group.
The large double-deck cage is designed for material (large equipment) hoisting and men-riding. Cage and counterweight are guided with roller guides on guide rails in the shaft.
The conveyances are fitted to the head rope attachments which hydraulically adjust the unbalanced load between the conveyances. The tail ropes designed as flat ropes will be connected to the conveyances with the corresponding rope attachments.
