The designed production capacity of Helin Coal Mine of Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group (TKV) is 2.4 Mt/a. The shaft infrastructure comprises a main shaft with a diameter of 5m sunk to a depth of 420m and a service shaft with a diameter of 6.5m sunk to a depth of 405m, as well as a ventilation shaft with a diameter of 5m sunk to a depth of 399m below surface.
In September 2010, XCMSE was awarded a contract by China Coal No.5 Construction Co. Ltd. to manufacture and deliver the following equipments as its subcontractor:
■ Three off 16t skips c/w suspension devices of head
rope and balance rope
■ Guide rollers, dumping scrolls, loading devices
■ Four off cage c/w suspension devices of head rope
and balance rope
■ Guide rollers, turnout switch mechanism
■ Cage c/w suspension devices and guide rollers,
safety catch for ventilation shaft
■ Charging system (comprises swing platform, mine
wagon arrester, safety door, explosion door) for
ventilation shaft
■ Charging system for service shaft at shaft mouth
■ Charging system for service shaft at shaft bottom
